Also, there's this guy named Dallas Green who has a side project called City and Colour that I think you'd really like. He's the lead singer in a Canadian screamo-type band, but he decided to try the solo thing and I'm in love. Don't worry, it's not screamo at all, it's actually almost the opposite- you'll see. If you like the singer/songwriter type w/ great lyrics (that can be melancholy at times) you'll like this! This album honestly gave me the "meh" feeling upon first spin as well, but damn has it grown on me. I admit I am a bit of a "unique" voice whore - and his switch from classic to falsetto really works. Definitely going to pick up the label release for the album as I think it has an extra track from the indie release last year!! Nice post! LOVE Bon Iver!
